"My path to self-employment Part 1"

How nice that you're here :)
Feel warmly welcome
My small but beautiful online shop is finally open. I can't tell you how excited I am and how happy I am about it.
A year ago I would have called you crazy if you had told me that.
In my opinion, own online shops were only for large labels like H&M, Otto, Zalando, etc.
I would like to tell you how I actually came to this whole thing. Because this secret dream has actually been slumbering in me for a long time, but as is usually the case, you just let the dream be a dream and don't believe in yourself and your possibilities.
But let's just start from the beginning:
After graduating from high school in 2009, I began training as an industrial clerk at a company. There I got a taste of the everyday life of a company and went through the various commercial departments. I was very enthusiastic about the business management topic and successfully completed my training 2.5 years later.
I then continued to work there in financial accounting . I was very open and curious about what my new position had in store for me. I learned quickly and worked with a lot of joy. But even then it was somehow clear to me that I wouldn't or wouldn't want to do this job all my life. Life must have so much more in store for me, I thought.
And two years later it did when I became pregnant with our first child.
My husband and I had been living together for over three years at that point and we couldn't have been happier.
It was always clear to me that I wanted to be fully there for my child in the first years of life and I went on my initial three-year parental leave .
As life goes, three planned years turned into 8 whole years and two more children :D
It's so crazy what life has in store for us. I would never have expected such a long time and even less that I would one day be a mother of three children.
As I just told you, I always wanted to be fully there for my children. But as time went on, the desire to fulfill myself professionally and to simply do something for myself again crept in more and more.
I think every mom can understand that ;)
Maybe you're a mom and are in the same place I was a while ago.
Actually, this time was when my third daughter was a few months old. Our everyday life was (largely) routine ;) and I was looking for a new challenge and something that, in addition to being a mom, would bring more variety to my everyday life with three small children.
You may now be wondering what this change looked like for me and how and when the dried flowers came about?!
I can tell you one thing right now, it was a long and completely crazy road to get there that has absolutely nothing to do with what I'm doing today.
But I'll be happy to tell you that in my second part.

Thank you so much for taking the time to find out a little more about me and my journey here.

Until then, your Sarah
